What is a system codification ?
The requirements for a coating system must be defined clearly for each specific works.
This is done with regard to the working environment, the nature of the substrate, and the required protection duration.
The system codification is a working tool for the specifier used to link a system with its performance, inspection and guarantee specifications.

A system is defined by the following system codification :
- a set of 3 uppercase letters called a series, indicating the working environment of the coating
- a number with 3 arab figures called a group, indicating the function of the coating depending on the nature of the surface to be coated
